SPRING/SUMMER 24

Objects of Design/Objects of Desire: designer items become objects of desire, objects of elegance, life objects.

Whether it is a shoe or a piece of furniture, it is the very concept of design that defines and distinguishes objects, unconcerned as they are with fleeting fashions, and which are perpetual in their identity, their charm, and their uniqueness.

In this collection, which is inspired by designers such as Nanda Vigo and Gabriella Crespi, Nicolò Beretta has embarked on a quest for femininity through industrial materials like mirrored fabrics and denim, which are ‘sculpted’ to create fascinating new shapes.

The NB-Angel mules, adorned with chrome drapery on the toe, and the sculptural NB-Wave pumps are the ultimate expression of these concepts.

The lavish color palette – which ranges from enchanting fuchsia to intense black – is hyper-feminine and contemporary, and confers an airy touch of playfulness, for footwear that entertains while experimenting.

Python prints with laminated shades, metal mesh embroidered with chandelier-effect crystals, and swirls of ribbons are some of the exquisite details to be found in the collection.
