Viewed by many as an enfant prodige of footwear, Nicolò Beretta embarked on his career while still a teenager.
Born in Milan and raised in Sydney, Australia, Nicolò met legendary editor of Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani, when he was just 17. She heaped praise on his designs, giving Nicolò just the right amount of self-confidence he needed to start forging his own career. After finishing school in Sydney, Nicolò focused on his first creative project, which made its official debut in 2014. The response of media and buyers alike was instantly positive, prompting international showbiz stars to take note. In 2015, Nicolò was proclaimed winner of the ‘Who’s on Next’ talent contest by a jury of eminent figures from the fashion world. In 2016, he received the “Vivian Infantino Emerging Talent Award” from Footwear News, which dedicated its cover to him. In 2018, Forbes included Nicolò in its list of the top thirty under-30s.
In 2022, the partnership with the Italian footwear company Giuseppe Zanotti enabled Nicolò to launch a new range of women’s footwear carrying his name. Through this partnership, Zanotti’s groundbreaking artistic vision meets Beretta’s fresh and eye-catching approach to footwear in a new project that is rooted in a hyper feminine aesthetic, as well as in the upscale Italian quality that has always defined the Giuseppe Zanotti brand’s creations.
The Nicolò Beretta line is focused on luxury women’s creations, and is manufactured and distributed by the Giuseppe Zanotti company.
